Chris Rivers, previous drummer for upcoming UK hardrock band Heaven's Basement.
Born in Manchester in the mid 80s, Chris was brought up on a diet of hard rock influences by parents listing tastes. His father was the drummer for UK glam rock band 'Rox' so Chris picked up the sticks at an early.
Being in Manchester during the early 2000's wasn't exactly the best place to be if you wanted to drum for a Hard Rock band, so Chris was forced to look else where in the UK to find like minded musicians who shared his vision and goals, this eventually led him to form Heaven's Basement with previous band mates.
Heaven's Basement formed in early 2008, since then the band has gone on to tour europe alongside the likes of Papa Roach, Bon Jovi, Shinedown, Buckcherry and Black Stone Cherry. Chris's hard hitting style mixed with Heaven's Basement's touring demands required equipment that withstand heavy punishment night after night.
Since having a family Chris has tried to lead a more subdued lifestyle channelling his creativity onto canvas; producing a series of work called ‘Savages of Eden’.
‘I create original artwork work on canvas, used drumheads and broken cymbals. I mainly paint in oil using classical painting techniques with my own twist’.
Thought to be one of the most investible artists by many of his critiques, with serveral of the large publishers fighting to sign him, Chris has a very exciting 2018 ahead of him.
